NEWTOWN — Funeral services were held Monday for Miss Lelia Ogle, 81, in the First Baptist Church at Terre Haute with burial there. Miss Ogle died at the Wesley Manor in Frankfort where she resided for the past four years. She was born one mile south of Newtown, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ogle. Miss Ogle taught home economics for some 40 years, most of which were in Terre Haute. Following that she was employed by the government in home economics work at Indianapolis. She is survived by one brother, Fred Ogle of Harrold, S.D., and several nieces and nephews.   --typed by Walt W

NEWTOWN, Ind. -- Miss Lelia Ogle, 82, died Saturday morning (May 18, 1968) in Wesley Manor Nursing Home, Frankfurt, (sic - Frankfort) Ind., where she had been a patient four years. Miss Ogle was born in 1886 to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ogle a mile south of Newtown. She taught home economics in the Terre Haute school system for 40 years and, after retiring, was employed by the U. S. government in Indianapolis. She is survived by a brother, Fred, of Harrold, S. D. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church, Terre Haute, with burial in Terre Haute.   --waw
